Garmin BaseCamp is a great software to keep track of your trail runs and GPX data, as well as plan your next adventure. This tutorial shows you how to combine GPX files in Garmin BaseCamp into one file that you can upload to your watch or share it with your friends.
This tutorial is based on the Mac version of the software. If you haven’t done so, download and install Garmin BaseCamp here.
Step 1: Download GPX files
Download a set of GPX files from either your GPS watch or from this website under the GPX tag section.

This will import all the tracks contained in the GPX file.

Step 5: Split track into two tracks
Select the track to be split to show all the points it is made of. Identify the point where you want to split the track, and right-click. Select “Split Track at Point” to split the track.
Step 6: Verify all tracks are pointing in the correct direction
When highlighting a track, you will notice red arrows pointing in the direction of travel. In our example, the track is pointing the wrong way. To reverse it, select the track and right-click on it. Select “Invert Track” to reverse it. This will open a new pop-up window with all the track point. Simply close it.
